Islamabad: Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson has said Pakistan diplomatic efforts continued this week as well in the perspective of ongoing tension in Middle East.
Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister (FM) made important telephonic contacts with leadership of Qatar, Egypt and Iran.
This was said by FO spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi during his weekly press briefing here Friday.
He announced Prime Minister (PM) will visit China from May 23 to 26. He will hold important meetings with Chinese leadership. Bilateral relations, economic cooperation, regional situation and matters of mutual interest will come under discussion during the meetings.
Pakistan-China diplomatic ties have completed 75 years. China has sided with Pakistan in every critical situation.
According to him Pakistan and China have adopted uniform stance in the matter of Gulf tension.
During it interior minister Mohsin Naqvi undertook two important visits of Iran and held meetings with Iranian leadership.
He said DPM while talking to Qatari state minister for foreign affairs, foreign minister of Egypt and Iranian foreign minister exchanged views on regional situation, peace and stability and steps for defusing tension.

FO while strongly condemning recent attacks on Saudi Arabia and UAE said the nuclear installations should not be targeted in any way because this can pose threat to peace of entire region.
Welcoming the decision of Court of Arbitration on Indus Basin Treaty said this decision makes clear limitations of Indian water control on western rivers.
According to Pakistan court's award is compulsory and final for both sides while run of river projects cannot be seen in perspective of one sided presumptions of India.
Regarding Kashmir issue FO spokesperson said continuing bloodshed of Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir is inequitable. Pakistan calls for release of all Kashmiri, political , social and human rights workers.

Rejecting the allegations recently leveled by India against Pakistan he said when allegations of human rights violations and massacre are leveled against India , it levels unfounded allegations against Pakistan to divert world attention.

Pakistan has taken effective steps for prevention of terror attacks in the country.
With reference to Pak-Afghan relations he made it clear the basic reason for tension in the relations is terrorists groups attacks on Pakistan from Afghan land.
It is responsibility of Afghan government under international laws and Doha agreement that it should not allow its soil to be used for terrorism against Pakistan.
