Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has held an important meeting with PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra and the two exchanged views on political situation and important government affairs.

According to sources Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Ishaq Dar and Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz were also present on the occasion.

The overall political and economic situation of the country was reviewed in details during the meeting.

Ishaq Dar informed Nawaz Sharif about reasons behind hike in the prices of petroleum products.

Upon it Nawaz Sharif stressed upon allaying the public grievances and providing relief to people.

Directive was issued to provide protection to poor people despite increase in the prices of petroleum products.

They exchanged views on coming election of Gilgit-Baltistan in details.

Mian Nawaz Sharif was informed about behind the door efforts by national leadership in regard to US-Iran talks.
