Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) while declaring the Lahore High Court (LHC) decision null and void has approved bail of one Amna Naz, accused in I phone smuggling case.Bail after arrest plea of Amna Naz was approved against surety bonds worth Rs 2 lac.Justice Musarrat Hilali of LHC wrote the decision of bail after arrest plea of the accused.The decision said the court at the time of revocation of bail should have kept in view that the accused was a woman. The court should also have kept in view criminal record of the accused, nature of crime and non escaping the accused.Announcing the punishment by only giving reference to law is improper. There is no criminal record and her being proclaimed offender of the accused.During checking at Lahore Airport 26 I Phones were recovered from the accused. The cost of 26 I Phones stands at Rs 78.46 lac.
