We are fully aware of Indian threats: FO

Islamabad: Foreign Office (FO) has said talks between Pakistan and Afghan Taliban will take place in Turkiya today. Terrorism emanating from Afghan soil will come under discussion in the meeting, this was said by FO spokesperson Tahir Andrabi in weekly press briefing here Friday.

He said we are fully aware of Indian threats. We are keeping a watchful look on Indian threats for Azad Kashmir.

He held Pak-Afghan talks to be held in Istanbul would be follow up of Doha Peace talks. Ceasefire took place as a result of DOHA talks and remarkable decline was witnessed in terror related incidents from Afghan soil. More talks on elimination of terror groups from Afghan soil will be held in Istanbul talks.

He said a consensus has been evolved on important documents between representatives of Pakistan and Afghan Taliban. The two countries have signed these documents. No matter Afghan Taliban government accepts this agreement or otherwise.

He remarked Pakistan is pursuing policy of peace and mutual respect. However terrorism from Afghan soil against Pakistan is not acceptable.

It is our clear message terror attacks be stopped and practical and verifiable action be taken against the terrorists. If such steps are taken then Pak-Afghan relations can return to normalcy like before.

He hinted the details of the delegation for Istanbul talks have not been worked out so far. However Pakistan will participate in these talks with such sincerity and seriousness it has been demonstrating since long before.

He underlined Pakistan will abide by international laws fully on the matter of river Kinz.

Expressing grave concern over continuing violations of human rights he said Israel is violating all international laws blatantly. Pakistan will continue to highlight this matter. We are watching deeply Israeli aggression and the tragedies resulting from this aggression.

Our stance is very clear that establishment of Palestine state is only way for permanent peace in Middle East.

Responding to a question about India's role in Afghanistan he said opening its embassy in Kabul by India is internal matter of both the countries. However India's role in Afghanistan in the past has not remained positive.

Pakistan is seriously concerned over pitiable plight of Muslims in India. We demand India to ensure better environment and equal rights for Muslims therein.

Pakistan strongly condemns the bids by Israel to annex parts of West Bank and will continue its support for right to self determination for people of Palestine.
