ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik has said gas and electricity matter is fully linked to the weak agreement executed by Imran Khan with IMF.

 

?ad you executed  LNG  agreements on the pattern and quantity of PML-N then the both gas and electricity  would have been cheaper today in the country, he added.

 

Reacting to Hammad Azhar statement he said former federal minister is lying. Gas and electricity is absolutely linked to weak agreement of Imran Khan with IMF, he added. Imran Khan and Hammad Azhar are responsible for hours long load shedding today. Imran Khan and Hammad Azhar are too responsible for non supply of gas to industry today.

 

The losses of distribution and supply have gone up in the country and only PTI is responsible for it, he claimed.

 

PTI not only failed in  stopping the losses but also it could not collect bills and this way the economy was devastated, he remarked.

 

The agreement  for scaling up the tariff of electricity by Rs 4 per unit was made by Hammad Azhar. The agreement for raising petroleum development levy and 17 percent GST was also agreement of PTI.

 

Soaring 1100 billion circular debt to 2400 billion is incompetence of PTI government, he observed.
