SRINAGAR: Senior Hurriyat leader and chairman Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmed Shah has expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of prominent Kashmiri leader Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl.In his message from Tihar jail Shah, while extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, paid rich tribute to the deceased leader for his valuable contribution to the Kashmir freedom movement.Prof. Shawl, he said had played vital role to in highlighting the Kashmir dispute and exposing the Indian brutalities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir at the global level.Meanwhile, the DFP acting chairman and convener APHC AJK and Pakistan chapter Mehmood Ahmed Saghar in his separate statement paid eulogizing tributes to Professor Shawl.They also prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant patience to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
