ISLAMABAD: PTI senators have strongly protested against derogatory remarks against PTI women in joint session of Parliament.

They staged a protest walk-out from Senate demanding an apology from the Federal Minister Khawaja Asif. .

PTI senators voiced protest in Senate against immoral remarks about PTI women by Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Thursday.

After walk out from Parliament House JUI Senator Kamran Murtaza said that women in Parliament House are very respectful to us.

He said that what the Defense Minister said was inappropriate.

If someone else apologizes or not, I apologize.

He requested Defense Minister that it would be better if he apologized.

On that Defense Minister said that I have not specified any gender in my speech.

Senator Ali Zafar said if you want gender equality then face criticism.

If Senators apologize for it then I will apologize.

Senator Nazir Tarar said that Federal Defense Minister has clarified his words and now there is no question of apology .

PTI Senator Hamayun Saeed Mehmand said that he should apologize for the remarks made about women senators of PTI.

Federal Defense Minister said that the remarks I made in the joint session were not only about women.

However PTI workers did not become satisfied with explanation of Federal Minister and again walked out Parliament House in protest.
